Week 5- Presentations

 During week five of Digital Pedgagoies unit, we looked at presenting the learning content to students in a v ery effective technique for our contemporary learners. So what is the purpose of a presentation anyway? As educators we can use presentation platforms like  Press , Powerpoint, Googleslides, Canva, Adobe Spark and the list goes on. By using these platforms for our students we will help persuade, inform, inspire, and entertain our content through learning off a presentation.  The Platform Prezi is my favourite as I ca n customise, interact, add impact, use designed templates, persuade and collaborate all off the one online source.  Prezi helps to emphasise the beginning, middle and end, as the information is arranged spatially; additionally, the transitions and zoom feature help to visually explain how the different points and ideas relate to one another.  Below are some screenshots I have taken from a students perspective of Prezi.  URL:  https://prezi.com/dashboard/next/#/pres

Week 4- Digital Media

 This week in my Digital Pedagogies unit, we looked at how Digital Media can be used for learning content and tools to expand the students creativity/ knowledge and maximise engagement for further interaction towards education.  The use of digital media insists of videos, images and audio which allows the students to express their creativity into their learning through many different platforms. As a teacher in areas of Health and Physical Education and Psychology I could bring up these images (examples of both subject areas) and ask my students "what do we think is happening in this picture? Who is this picture for?
